Will I have the SAME SITTER visiting my pet(s)?

    +

We have a team of professional pet sitters that work for us. Our sitters availability is constantly changing therefore is impossible for us to schedule only one sitter do all the visits. However each sitter that visits your pet(s) will have access to your care instructions, that way your pet(s) will get the same loving care every time.

How do I know that your SITTERS are actually SHOWING UP?

    +

After our sitters complete each visit they’ll send you an email update with a summary of what they did and photos so you can see how things are going while are away.

Will you guys hold on to my KEYS while I am away?

    +

For security reasons and the fact that you will have multiple sitters visiting your pet(s), we do not hold on to keys. We recommend the use of a lockbox, they are secure and easy to hide. You may purchase one online or you may also buy one from us during the consultation.

My DOG IS SHY or may not react well with strangers, can you still help us?

    +

Our sitters are really good with dogs; however, we cannot take on aggressive or extremely skittish dogs. We don’t want anyone to get hurt or your dog to be placed under unnecessary stress. If you have any concerns about your dog and the service, please let our staff know and they may be able to suggest an alternative option better suited for you and your dog.

My pet needs MEDICATION or shots, can I still use the service?

    +

Yes, our sitters can administer almost any kind of medication as long as your pet is willing to take it. However, if you feel that your pet may be resistant (hiding, biting, scratching, spitting it out) to taking the medication from different sitters, we suggest leaving your pet at a vet’s office where they can assure proper medication.

I have MULTIPLE PETS, is there an EXTRA FEE for that?

    +

No, we only charge for the amount of time our sitters spend taking care of your furry family. For 1-2 pets we recommend at least a 30-min visit, for 2-3 pets a 45-min visit and for 3-4 pets at least a 60-min visit. If you have more than 4 pets contact your local Sitter4Paws so that we can help you determine what the best option is for you.

I want to know more about your BOARDING service?

    +

Some of our Sitter4Paws locations offer dog boarding. The boarding is usually done from the home of that Sitter4Paws branch owner/manager and NOT an actual boarding facility. Space is very limited so contact your local Sitter4Paws to check availability.

What happens in case of an EMERGENCY?

    +

Emergencies are very rare, however in case there is one, we will contact you right away. If we can not get a hold of you, we will take the necessary steps to make sure your furry pal(s) and home are safe. We will contact your vet and if needed we will go to the nearest emergency hospital. Unless we are liable for the incident, you will be responsible for any costs related to the emergency.
